Major Setback at The Big Go

The U.S. Nationals, often referred to as "The Big Go," is the most prestigious race of the year for NHRA teams and the Gutierrez Brothers Racing was honored to compete.

Despite their excitement, they faced a major setback when a couple connecting rods disintegrated during their second qualifying pass, damaging the engine block and forcing them out of the competition.

Gutierrez Brothers Racing wants to express their gratitude to Maxima Racing Oils for their support this year while proudly displaying their name and colors on the dragster. They look forward to the future of their partnership and what it may bring.
