Gutierrez Brothers Racing GBR) is heading into the US Nationals after a big win at the Night Under Fire!!! Summit Motorsports Park continuously throws a great show for fans and racing along side the Michalek Brothers is always great fun and even better competition! This was GBR’s 4th year helping put on a great show for the fans, so they were excited to come home with the trophy this year.

“We took our Gutierrez Brothers Racing Top Alcohol Dragster bolted together with Hussey Performance Gaskets keeping all that power inside our engine, our Moroso oil pan was holding our Maxima oil inside keeping everything lubed up, XRP was feeding this beast of an engine with all the fuel it could handle, and we put all that power to the ground through our bullet proof B&J transmission!” said JP.

In layman’s terms Phil says, “We couldn’t have done it without our sponsors! HAHA We have so much fun attending that race and JP loves doing half track burnouts for the fans! Yes, we were excited to bring home the trophy but now it’s time to focus our attention to the US Nationals and see how fun we can get there this year!”

The US Nationals is a race that GBR waits all season for! It’s the biggest, longest, and most historic event in NHRA. Winning this race always means more to the driver and crew than any other race that season. GBR is hoping this year is their time!

Qualifying runs for Top Alcohol Dragster start on Friday at 1:00pm and 3:30pm. The third round of qualifying will be on Saturday at 12:00pm. Since it is a holiday weekend eliminations will be held on two days with eliminations round one and two on Sunday at 10:30am and 6:15pm.
